You did it

When you send an e-card from Amazon (which you usually shouldn't do, because their e-cards are just god-awful) it says at the end: "You did it! Your card has been sent."

Read it again: "
You did it! Your card has been sent."

That's right, Amazon is talking to you like a 3 year old who just managed to use the potty. "You did it! You got to the bathroom in time! Way to go honey!" I don't need this kind of talking-down-to after I settle for one of their e-cards; I already feel like I failed somehow.

Of course, maybe they meant to evoke the image of a kid taking a crap, as a sort of inside joke about knowing how bad their cards have gotten... another of life's little mysteries.
